Student of the Month story

Who: Catherine Crane
What: Won the Bowie Student of the Month award
Where: James Bowie High- School (in the 9th grade)
When:  Monday, April 3rd 2017
How: She had the best grades and perfect attendance out of the whole freshman class.
Why: She showed excellent behavior and academic performance, and therefore was rewarded for all of her hard work.

Beginning: 
   Catherine Crane, freshman at James Bowie High- School, won the first ever Student of the Month award. On Monday, April 3rd of 2017 was told she had won the award. Catherine was ecstatic as she had worked very hard in and out of school. Catherine held perfect attendance while maintaining a high GPA. She showed excellent behavior and academic performance, leading to her well- deserved award.

1. Avoid mergers 2. Academic shoot reflection and critique

1. Some of the challenges I faced while trying to follow the rules during the shoot was, that it was hard to find all of the rules. I thought it would be easy but it was actually kind of hard to find some of them. Not only that but as a photographer, i personally like more of a clear background but you can't do that with academic shoots since their are people everywhere! Lastly, their was not the best lighting since it was in a classroom. 2. I thought the most about the rules since that was what we were out there to do. I also focused on flipping the camera horizontal for some photos that I needed a closer and more full- body picture for. 3. If I could do the shoot again, I would try to get closer to some of the "subjects" to make sure it focuses only on the things I wanted in the photo. 4. The Camera

                                                                The Camera                 1. The "camera obscura" effect is an optical effect which inside a completely dark room, a small hole is made. Through the hole, light is focused and the optical effect is projected upside down on the opposite wall. 2. When Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding go optics which helped getting to the modern camera. 3. In 1827, Joseph Niépce added film which pretty much created the modern camera. 4. Modern Cameras still use film and has the same basics except Niépce camera took over 8 hours to expose. 5. digital cameras use electronic sensors called a CCD. to capture a photo.
