HDR Photography

    Some Examples of HDR photos:



1. What manipulations to the camera will you need to make to create an HDR image? Using a tripod is preferable. Along with that, HDR photo blending software can be used. Shoot the photos in RAW format.
2. What equipment will we use to take this type of image?Possibly a tripod, HDR blending software, the camera. 
3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image?In order to capture both the light and dark ends of the spectrum in a photo.
4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that we might not have seen with just one photo? The photos will combine to make a single image where it is comprised of the most focused, well lit, colorful parts of the photo.

1. Avoid mergers 2. The subject of my photo is the two boys in the back writing and the boy scratching his head. the merger is the blonde boy in the bottom of the photo. 3.I think it is fairly clear that the 3 boys are the main subject with the blond boy as the merger. 4. Academic shoot reflection and critique

1. Some of the challenges I faced while trying to follow the rules during the shoot was, that it was hard to find all of the rules. I thought it would be easy but it was actually kind of hard to find some of them. Not only that but as a photographer, i personally like more of a clear background but you can't do that with academic shoots since their are people everywhere! Lastly, their was not the best lighting since it was in a classroom. 2. I thought the most about the rules since that was what we were out there to do. I also focused on flipping the camera horizontal for some photos that I needed a closer and more full- body picture for. 3. If I could do the shoot again, I would try to get closer to some of the "subjects" to make sure it focuses only on the things I wanted in the photo. 4. The "camera obscura" effect is an optical effect which inside a completely dark room, a small hole is made. Through the hole, light is focused and the optical effect is projected upside down on the opposite wall. 2. When Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding go optics which helped getting to the modern camera. 3. In 1827, Joseph Niépce added film which pretty much created the modern camera. 4. Modern Cameras still use film and has the same basics except Niépce camera took over 8 hours to expose. 5. digital cameras use electronic sensors called a CCD. to capture a photo.
