1. Avoid mergers 2. The subject of my photo is the two boys in the back writing and the boy scratching his head. the merger is the blonde boy in the bottom of the photo. 3.I think it is fairly clear that the 3 boys are the main subject with the blond boy as the merger. 4. If people couldn't easily tell I could have gotten closer to the boys and maybe have made my subject smaller and done 2 boys instead of 3. (and a half) 1. JPEG What are  three  advantages of a RAW file:   - Higher dynamic range - Has an easy software to download - Displays highlights and shadows What is  one  disadvantage of a RAW file: It is not as sharp What are  three  advantages of a JPEG file: - Has a higher contrast range - Sharper - Is immediately able to print What is  one  disadvantage of a JPEG file:  Has a lower dynamic range WHAT IS RAW AND WHY MIGHT YOU NEED IT? 1. Spiral Staircases  http://petapixel.com/2014/12/19/disorienting-beauty-spiral-staircases-old-abandoned-buildings/ On this website, I looked at many different photos of strange spiral staircases from around the world. Many were from abandoned buildings especially from Germany. I learned that there is beauty in every day things such as staircases if shot at the right angle. In order for this to happen, the photographer must find the pattern, and position their camera in order to capture the pattern.  a) I chose this photo because I love the lines and the pattern that directs you down the photo. I love that it messes with your brain and doesn't look like a normal staircase. b) The rules of photography that I see in the photo are lines as the lines all lead you to the bottom of the photo(the ground). c) Christian Richter took the photo.
