This week and Thanksgiving Break goals
this week: My goal for this week is to get my long exposure photos done and sign up for the retro shoot. Thanksgiving Break Over Thanksgiving Break I want to get a lot of shoots done to get all caught up / ahead for the week after.
Bowie Dispatch stories
Story one: student climate survey The climate surveys have shown that students do not tend to enjoy the work done at school. In this, faculty at Bowie is trying to create more intriguing classes that have college connections. It has been a while since new courses have been added to Bowie and like the principle, agree that more "hands on" classes could help interest students in the work being done at school. Story two: What it means to be in theater Extracurriculars are a key part in the high school experience. In theater, the students work hard for months to get their show to be stellar for the day of the performance. The hard work helps students grow and improve within the theater world.
Video questions (tales by light)
1) The photographer in the video is Eric Cheng. He travels and photographs animals throughout the world. "the more dangerous the better" claims the photographer as he strives for amazing photos of the wildlife. 2) What I found most interesting about this episode is that the photographer gets to travel to unique places in order to capture amazing photos of unique animals. Also, it is really interesting that the photographer has gotten so up close and personal with the animals. I love how beautiful and diverse each photograph is from each new location. 3) I learned that some of the most beautiful photos are taken just simply by getting close to the subject and stepping out of your comfort zone. The photographer gets close to some of the most dangerous animals in the world for an amazing photo.
